Awesome cinematography, really good music and good effects. Short on story, but a fun watch.
the first 20-30 minutes were good and i was excited to see how everything was going to unfold, but they immediately dumped that and fast-forwarded 6 months later. lots of skimming over details, yada yada-ing over plot points and completely leaving out current exposition and character development, to the extent of personally being confused by actions/reasonings and annoyed at the lost potential. the best parts were w/ Traylor, Gisigu and Bumper - i would have been more than happy to have solely followed them through the plague. i feel like they had too much story and not enough time to tell it - this definitely would have been great as a mini-series or trilogy of movies.

I thought it was a good take on the zombie genre. Lots of gore and some twists to keep you on your toes.
The Walking Dead in Canada with two differences: the natives are immune and the zombies are much faster. In short, this movie is pure Z series
It's not a bad film, but despite the North American reservation setting, it is still something that is over-familiar for zombie fans

Wasn’t awful, wasn’t brilliant.
Good cast generally, it simply didn’t explain its change in direction properly. Shame.
I wanted to like this film. I really did. But I either didn’t get the film, or the film was really bad. I know, the zombie film theme is done to death (pardon the pun) and this film certainly brings a breath of fresh air to the genre by mixing Indian elements to it, but that’s about it. I see nothing else unique about this zombie film compared to many others. And I have very low standards when it comes to zombie films. Usually like most of them. Somehow, this film didn’t do it for me.
Would I watch it again? No. Would I make my friends watch it? Hell no!

The brother was a horrible actor and his storyline of "daddy didn't love me enough so I'm going to kill everyone" is overdone and tiresome. I was hoping to see more of the conflict of native against townie but instead we wasted all our time focusing on family drama.
