Surprisingly good given its generic title. This unusual take on vampirism has some shocking moments.
It starts off good and ending gets bit tedious
good acting and solid effects made this a solid movie. there's a mid-credits scene!
Not the best movie I have watched in 2022, but not the worst. It is not a unique movie I bet you can think of a 100 movies like this one. Yes, this is a MUST WATCH!
Usually, when a family moves to a house in the wilderness, it’s approximately clear that they will become a victim of FAQ and for whom they will make you worry. But you just have to change the poles of Good and Evil in places and here it is, cognitive dissonance. An unusually played story of the formation of a monster and motherly love
Blood is about a mother who will do anything she can in order to save her blood (kids), even if it means giving her own blood in the process. It's heartwarming but also makes you question your own morals, to what lengths would you go to save the ones you love?
It had some eerie and bloody moments but I wanted it to aim for a bit more, it feels like there wasn't enough horror and it never got wild enough to really make an impact. That being said it was entertaining and I was never bored. Good acting from everyone but I was especially impressed with the kids acting, both of them were great but the boy was solid and creepy. The makeup and red eyes looked great. I liked the single parent storyline and what they did with that, added some psychological elements. The tree setting added some mystery and atmosphere but getting no answers about it and it's origin was disappointing. Mid-credit scene made me thirsty for more.
Blood was a decent donation from Brad Anderson. I'm just left wanting a little more, i'm not asking for 100% of it but just a few more drops. Still, A positive experience that doesn't leave an irony taste in my mouth and it wasn't in vein. Leaving you on this typo.

The whole premise of this movie is absurdly bad.
She could easily show the doctor "he gets better with this, idk why, so give it to him until we figure it out I guess" - There was absolutely NO REASON to keep it a secret, other than to make this movie.
Movies like this irrationally infuriates me :weary:
