Well kids, what did we learn about following rules?

my standards for horror films are simple: is it fun? did i either laugh or feel a little bit spooked? if it meets that criteria, it's decent and worth the watch. this was not fun, i did not laugh and at no point did anything scare me.

also, anyone who writes a horror screenplay and thinks that the audience needs the entire concept of a malevolent spirit explained to them in a character's dialog multiple times needs to just. not write the horror screenplay.

Sorry but no. The ending is too forced, simple paths are not taken so to have that ending the director wanted when the guy is forced with his back on the wall, the young girl doesn't run nor stabs the "ghost" (that's what it is right?) I mean that was the perfect moment and instead... Bah, utter crap of a movie. It started well, then it became rotten to the core as the movie progressed. 2 stars just because it is Friday and I feel kind.

[terrorMolins] An attempt to elaborate a horror story with more or less classic resources. If at least it is an attempt, because what the film transmits is an absolute laziness when it comes to proposing something that is out of the ordinary. There is a feeling of lack of interest in the construction of the story itself, of following the easy path, without shortcuts or hidden paths. It is all so bland that it does not produce any kind of uneasiness.

wow. this was so shitty! not even scary. the girls were so stupid.

spoiler PLOT HOLES: ok. main point: the older girl was able to hurt the entity with the broken mirror even if it wasn't possessing anybody. they could've killed the entity. each of the girls had their chance! 1. the little one while Charles was being stabbed in the neck, the little girl could've stabbed the invisible entity. 2. The older girl could've stabbed the entity while it was still trying to get in their Aunt Beth's body. But what both sisters do? they just watched. so...this is basically both of their fault. lol. so lame spoiler

If this movie ever creeps up behind you, don't worry about it. It's harmless! There are more scares in a bag of mouldy Maltesers than in this borefest, so indulge on those instead of this pedestrian effort.

Not the kind of high-end production I'm used to, but definitely worth a watch.
