The Good:

The script puts focus on Alexandra, continuing the trend of shifting the main characters within these films.

There's continued tension between Alexandra and Josef, offering the only truly enjoyable dramatic moments.

The fight scene at the car wash is pretty funny and exciting.

The Bad:

We once again follow an investigation centred around international crime, refugees and political intrigues. It's been done to death by now.

They introduce a forced plot device (again) to prepare us for Beck's departure from the show (again), which most likely never goes anywhere (again).

Unengaging supporting characters.

We return to a slower pace, with a script that struggles to combine an uneventful investigation with forcibly cliched dramatic moments.

Due to the generic murder investigation and the tried and tested twists and turns, this story remains forgettable.

The Ugly:

AKA CSI: Intensive Shouting.

VERDICT: 32% = :heavy_minus_sign: = UGLY
