The Batman in this movie is not "the Batman" that we have known growing up. He got kicked around during the whole movie, never showed any investigative prowess to justify his "world's greatest detective" label and dealt when his son like a moron when he's known to be someone who understands human psychology very deeply because of which he's able to strike fear in criminals and manipulate people. Pathetic representation of Batman.
I love Batman, but this one unfortunately falls into the average category of my recent DC animated binge. Nothing to attract a new audience, but you will like it if you are a fan of these movies.

It's better to read the Batman Court of Owls rather than watching this boring and dumb movie.
Well, aside from that ridicolous Bat-Mech at the end that wasn´t bad.
There must be some mistake, it says here that this movie is an adaption of the Court of Owls comic, but at no point does Batman backhand the crap out of Nightwing. Why even make a movie?
Uses set pieces from the Court of Owls comics but isn't the same story. Another very good entry in DC's animated movies.
If you've read the comic "Court of Owls", this is almost nothing like it. It's a good way to kill an hour and 20 mins, but not one of the very best DC animated movies. Enjoyed it tho
