Continuing the trend of bad Santa's after Violent Night - I really enjoyed Bad Santa 2. I only saw the first film for the first time recently and enjoyed that. While not the popular opinion, I actually enjoyed this more than the first one. It's naughty and cruder than the first one and the jokes landed more than they hit. That's all I can ask for.
Christina Hendricks is a smoke show and I'm on the lookout for a women like Jenny Zigrino's Gina De Luca.
Incredibly crass and vulgar, Bad Santa 2 is even more offensive than the first one. After getting a hot tip about a job in Chicago, Marcus recruits Willie for another Christmas heist. Kathy Bates and Christina Hendricks join the cast and get stuck in rather demeaning roles. And the absence of Bernie Mac and Lauren Graham is really felt. Additionally, the humor, besides being extremely raunchy, is mean spirited. Bad Santa 2 is an ugly and degrading film that tries to be as profane as possible.
This movie tries too hard and is horrible! Completely unwatchable!
Does not live up to the first. Really not that funny. I can't believe that Brett Kelly actually agreed to come back as Thurman Merman. I'll be skipping this one next year and just sticking with the original.
The first Bad Santa was a welcome antidote to the usual festive schmaltz that fills our screens. It was funny, edgy, and had a little heart amongst the hijinks. This is more of the same minus the funny and edge. A lot of talent wasted; a lot of my time squandered. Pitiful.
Boring movie with annoying humor, nothing worked here, total waste of time
This film got a lot of hate, and to be honest it didn't live up to the first film, but it's alright, cheesy at times, little over the top at times and the ending was poor, but other than that the script was funny, and kept me entertained. I'm glad to see the same cast back, because without them it wouldn't be bad Santa. What i liked about it the most was the soft spot between willie and the kid, because it was heart warming at moments. I wouldn't say the story was a christmas cracker, but the sense of humour from the script made up for it.
Shoulda been called Bad Sequel... 32 straight minutes of unfunny profanity minus everything that made the first one an instant classic is all I could take before shutting it off
The movie had some funny moments. The amount of bad language in the movie was over the top. It really would have been better if every other word wasn't the f-word. Other than that, just a remake of the first Bad Santa.
poor, not much of a storyline...same old, same old
Same as the first couple, only a few funny scenes, I only sat through first 3/4 of the movie

Loved this flick. Enjoyed it way more than the first movie. My kind of humor. Dirty, perverted, and not politically correct.
