We've seen this movie done much better in too many other places (Saving Face, for example). While this movie had the backdrop of a good drama (not to mention some time shifts, for good measure) there was nothing noteworthy about the movie. The dialog was rather dull and in order to do the time shifting that was in the film you have to first establish a strong relationship before you can show it broken (best done in Blue Valentine). I fell asleep with fifteen minutes to go.
