American Pie 2 2001

Very rarely does a sequel to a movie outperform the first, and in my opinion American Pie 2 does just that. The overall story and comedy was better than the classic hit of the first film and the acting got a lot better. This is my favorite film of the original trilogy.

Love these films, so many nostalgias!

By far the best of the lot, and never fails to make me laugh, and watching it again made it even better... great soundtrack...

Just as funny as I remember. This is the perfect hit of nostalgia and sometimes you just gotta indulge.

After watching the first, it’s only right to watch the sequel! One of the few films that really didn’t need another entry and totally lives up to any and all expectations! While I prefer the first, some people rightfully prefer this one!

So wrong on many levels..

"Oh, yeah. The Stifmeister's coming back to Grand Harbor. Deck the halls. Bye-bye, Great Falls. Wipe my ass and lick my balls. It's Stifler time, baby. Whoo-hoo-hoo. Whoo-hoo-hoo."

American Pie 2 is the fun sequel of the successful American Pie. The jokes are "dirtier" and they fire them at you at a very high speed. It is almost like a non-stop joking machine. If you like the humor in the original you'll like the jokes here too. Everyone returns and it again ends with a party and a mother.

Eugene Levy is on fire again, Jim (Jason Biggs) running into the bell at band camp is still laugh out loud funny, Stiffler steals the show again, still very much love the scene in the house with the two "lesbians", the soundtrack is killer again, Tara Reid is at her most beautiful here, Natasha Lyonne should've had a bigger role, no pies this time but superglue and Jim made the right choice going for Michelle but we are all happy that Nadia found her geek.

The second main slice is still a joy to watch.

The gang returns to service up another slice of American Pie. The story continues as Jim and his friends come home after their first year of college and proceed to rent a house on the beach for the summer. For the most part it stays true to the formula of first film, but does it a lot better. The dialog’s sharper, the humor cleverer, and the characters are more developed. Additionally, the film has strong, poignant messages about relationships. And, once again the soundtrack is excellently done. American Pie 2 is a fun and hilarious film that’s also smart and well-written.

American Pie 2 is the one at the beach house. The boys have finished their first year at uni and reunite to party for the summer. It kinda follows the same steps as the first slice, Jim (Jason Biggs) now gets caught fucking a girl instead of jerking off, instead of fucking the pie he super glues his hand to his weener and his dad meets him at the hospital, instead of drinking champagne Steven is getting peed on, you get my point. It is their formula thus far.

But still, it might be nostalgia, I still enjoy it. I laugh at every joke, love the soundtrack, know every step of the way, Stifler is still the energy but the scenes with Jim and Michelle (Allyson Hannigan) are the best for me. And Eugene Levy is always a blast.

Anyway, it is kind of the same thing as the first slice of the pie, but still highly enjoyable for me! Even if I'm grown up now.

it is a milder tamer version of the original.

Its nearly the exact same formula of the first movie but American Pie 2 keeps the humor following. The character don't necessarily evolve much further but their mishaps are still worth watching. It feels like a very natural place to pick up after the results of the first movie.

Now they are in love. Puagh !
