There is a guy right at the beginning, who says people who have seen Star Wars 50-60 times and haven't read the bible are calling him a fanatic because he believes his bible. And in reality they are the fanatics. To this I can only reply, none of those practising Jediism, at least as far as I know of, has ever killed someone else in the name of his God. I am an atheist. Always have been, always will be. And althought I am a huge Star Wars fan I can't see myself practising Jediism. What I see here is a group of misfits, and I don't mean that as an insult, who are looking, like everyone, for a place where they belong. They are doing it in a peaceful way and they have good intensions at heart from what I gather from this movie. And I am totally OK with that. And if you want to live by a certain code or moral there are much worse role models to turn to than a Jedi. Has Jediism a place among the world religions ? Maybe they shouldn't try to compete because that's what's wrong with Religion in the first place. Anyway, it is an interesting look into something I hadn't much knowledge about.
