A Christmas Horror Story 2015

I liked the twist at the end.

I wish they would have just stuck with the krampus and zombie elf storyline.

I loved this, easy to watch. Shows how you can make a great movie on a small budget.

A Christmas Horror Story is a chilling anthology that’s ghoulishly entertaining. Comprised of four bloodcurdling tales, the film follows a zombie outbreak at Santa’s workshop, a group of students doing an exposé of a double murder at their school, a changeling that poses as a young boy, and Krampus preying on a deceitful family. The stories feel a little disconnected from each other, but most of them are rather good; delivering some intense scares. And William Shatner gives a fun performance as a radio DJ in the wraparound story. However, there are a couple of weak performances that hold the film back, and some of the gore is a bit gratuitous and cheesy. Anthology films are a tricky thing, but overall A Christmas Horror Story does an impressive job at telling a diverse series of scary stories that cover several different genres of horror.

Shatner! He carried this movie. ;-) (j/k)

This had 4 different plot lines which I felt like were shoehorned together to get it past the magic 90 minute mark. I would have liked one less plot line and more substance in the 3.

Plenty of snow but not enough ho ho ho, and not very scary either. Tinsel and glitter but not enough substance.

Amazing little horror movie with bits and pieces from various different themes. We have some creepy children, some possession, some ominous old people. Oh, and of course a full out gorefest when Santa is going berserk. There are 4 stories going parallel in the film and I'd say they all worked really good and were interesting. And there was a really good twist to it all which I didn't see coming until it slammed an axe in my face. All in all a very good horror flick!

And don't worry about the comedic premise. It's slightly amusing at some few times but has an overall serious tone. I'd recommend this no matter the time of the year.
