I'm certainly the least spiritual person you've ever met, yet Un Monde Plus Grand (the true story of a sound engineer grieving over her dead husband who discovers she has shamanistic powers while traveling through Mongolia) succeeded in touching me. No doubt my feelings for this film were heavily influenced by the strong performance of Cécile de France, whose impeccable portrayal here cast a spell on me.
