I LOVE this movie. Great work from all involved.

This movie is superb, Eminem did this one movie, and also won a Oscar for it.

I'm not a fan of the plot of the movie, but you better lose yourself in the music, the moment
You own it, you better never let it go
You only get one shot, do not miss your chance to blow
This opportunity comes once in a lifetime

8 Mile is a good movie that captures the essence of hip hop culture. The film's depiction of the rap battles and the struggles of the characters is authentic and raw. The soundtrack is also great, with Eminem's tracks being some of the most memorable. Overall, it's a good movie that's worth watching if you're a fan of hip hop culture. While it may not be on the same level as Straight Outta Compton, it still offers an enjoyable and authentic portrayal of the genre.

Haven’t watched this one in ages and it was a blast to revisit! Eminem isn’t the greatest actor in the world, but he sells this role for obvious reasons. One of the oldest (and best) biopics that I can recall before they were the hot craze.

I haven't seen this one since it came out and even though the plot has a lot of unresolved threads the novelty hasn’t worn off.

This movie has a predictable plotline but what makes it so unique is that unlike all the other celebrity cash grab movies (Crossroads, Glitter, etc..), it’s not here to sell a soundtrack or make the artist relevant again, it feels like an actual movie. This movie is realistic.

And for a guy who’s never acted before, Eminem gives a damn-good performance as Jimmy (B-Rabbit), and I loved the character’s relationship with his little sister.

No words can explain my feeling but this movie. I whached it more than 18 times & still want to whach it.

I'd actually never seen this before. As publicity-focused biopics go, 8 Mile is one of the better-executed examples. Although it's self-serving at times, this is also an impressively open and honest take on Eminem's roots and the self-imposed blockade of excuses he laid out for himself before catching so much as a whiff of stardom. The plot outside of Mr. Marshall Mathers is fairly simplistic and limited, though, with most of the cast simply orbiting the star and reacting to his angry, frustrated outbursts.

I found the battle raps to be as intense and exciting as a good action scene, and the choice to limit them to a few key moments was a smart move that doubled their importance. Eminem himself is startlingly good in the lead role; it may not too much of a stretch to play yourself in the cinematic story of your own rise to fame, but I've certainly seen plenty try and fail. Authentic, street-smart inspiration that offers a fresh take on a tired old tale.
