I was a little disappointed. The casting gave me high hopes. However, I liked Dorothy, the dog, and Zoe, the little girl, the best. The story felt muddled and the I never really bought the need for all the fuss upon which the story was constructed. I gave it a 6 (fair) out of 10.
Pleasant movie about the strength of attachment we have built over the years in every aspect of our lives. It's not a blockbuster, but Keaton and Freeman played their roles well.
The story is a tad predictable, but Freeman and Keaton are, as ever, a real treat to watch.
