Statham (and to some degree 50 Cent) only exist in this movie as characters to draw in the audience.
The whole premise is another kind of perverted rich-people-don't-know-what-to-do-with-their-money game.
Sam Riley does a good job, though.

Still, the whole film isn't per se bad but it lacks depth, it lacks resolution, it lacks proper closure.
At the end it's like everything in this movie was pointless.
Sure, Vince got the money, but that is hardly a good ending and with good I do not mean happy ending. Some movies not ending on a good note is fine. But in this, there's no moral to the story either that I would buy into, making the end worthwhile. The movie doesn't care about that. There are no questions asked in this movie whatsoever.
Additionally, everyone in this was so tense, from giving out guns, to giving orders, to doing the bets. Everything was tense, making this hardly entertaining but rather stressful to watch. To some degree I can understand the tension given the circumstances but not all the time.

the trailer spoil-ered too much. you shouldn't watch the trailer.

I don't know what to say except this was a strange movie and kind of disturbing. Sam Riley played his part well. Statham is only a peripheral character.

Despite his name being in the leading credits, this is not a Jason Statham film. He plays kind of a secondary character in a very plodding story with a predictable ending. I'd give this one a miss unless you're just really bored.

Despite quite a lot of well known actors the acting in places was dire. The storyline is a bit weird as a plot.

Another good film with Jason Stratham in it. Will he ever be in a bad film? I think not. Very tense, very surreal, yet keeps you on the edge of your seat throughout. Highly recommended.
