This is by far the dumbest show I've ever watched but it makes me laugh every week.

[7.2/10] Solid episode. A bit of a letdown after some stellar outings, but still not bad. Both plots were good but not great, but everything was enjoyable enough.

The bits with Nadja teaching Jenna how to be a vampire were entertaining. I appreciate the humor of Jenna being a modern, anxiety-ridden, over-apologetic college student in contrast to the regular vamps’ more ancient ways. Nadja trying to take her under her (bat) wing is still a good plot, and Jenna being new and bad at it is pretty adorable. The reveal that her special vampire power is invisibility has a nicely arch Buffy vibe to it, and the shtick at the party was entertaining.

Nandor trying to get American citizenship fared less well in the comedy department. His exchanges with the naturalization officer were amusing, especially the reveal that vampire hypnotism doesn't work on government workers. But his fascination with the dream team and other gags didn’t do much for me. That said, I still like the continuing thread of Guillermo being frustrated at not having been made a vampire, and his “fucking get over it” speech to Nandor was a highlight.

Overall, a lesser light, but still good enough.
