3x01 The Great War and Modern Memory

Good start. Intersting case and Mahershala Ali is great.

Mahershala Ali is brilliant in this role ,nails it out the park and I can't wait to watch episode 2

Amazing! Just a pure amazing show so good it's back

First episode of season 3 already has me hooked more than any episode from season 2. True Detective feels best when its two leads trying to figure out an actual murder.

Roland West: Steve McQueen died today.
Wayne Hays: We should do something.
Roland West: We could go to Miss Minnie's.
Wayne Hays: Give me a break. I can't pay for it, man.
Roland West: It's more honest than most relationships. You never bought no Saigon trim while you was over there?
Wayne Hays: Guess I'm a romantic.
Roland West: I'm a feminist. If they wanna sell me a piece of ass, they got the right.

Great start to the third season of this exceptional anthology series. I really enjoyed the first two seasons and this first episode was also very promising. Compelling story, interesting characters and very good acting.

First episode was tremendous,this season is looking to be the best,even better than the first..

After the so called fiasco of 2nd season, nice idea to copy the first one in structure.

Oh two kids are missing and he is trying to get laid.

Not a fan of the nonlinear way they tell this story. Have loved the previous two seasons but this one is of to a slow start.

Holy! this was an awesome episode. And I just watched the second episode and I can only say that this has more then we'll potential to be the best season.

After watching the episode, I had a thought: "How the creators will stretch this plot for a whole season?" And I have no clue on that. Just hoping for the best.

Looking forward to this,gonna watch the first two episodes tonight,hopefully as good as first two seasons..
