The thing you have to understand about this season of True Detective, is that it is a comedy.
I have only one word in my mind: FUCK! What happened in this last episode?! WHY?! Nic are you serious?! Even that voicemail?! Everything bad what I expected in this episode just happened. I was angry and sad at the same time. This episode was for me the most emotional. And I know it is good but.. fuck..
Like i said after the 1st eisode...

I liked the first half of this episode, but last half seemed like it was rushed. I wasn't necessarily looking for a happy ending, but the way Frank and Ray died was kind of dumb. They both basically just decided to die. Frank definitely could've lived. Ray probably would've died either way, but he could have at least attempted to survive rather than just jumping out from behind the tree.

I liked this season more than the first one. Doesn't matter what people say.
The finale was a good, but not as earth shaking as I thought it was going to be. The way that Ray went out could have been much better, and while we are talking about major character deaths, Frank's death was kinda stupid, he had the choice to possibly live another day, and he chose not to. I did like the Cabin scene, it reminded me of blind rage Tony Montana. Like I said before good ending, wasn't quite as epic as I thought it would be, but overall a solid end to a good season.
Late to the party, but after watching I don't feel like the critics gave this season due justice. It wasn't nearly as bad as put on.

Season finale. Well, we liked her, she convinced us how she ended and we were surprised by the interpretations of Collin Farrel, Vince Vaughn, Rachel McAdams and Taylor Kitsch

So everything was supposed to be more elegant, clever and emotional AND IT WASN’T!
The forest/desert/ocean scenes were cool.
I’m glad the women made it out, but they were treated like the damsels in distress, even tho Annie was a very capable agent and in the end it was ALL FOR NOTHING.
Damn, that ending was so freaking creepy. Not sure if i liked this season more than the first. people are harsh, vince voughn was great in this. he makes a good evil villain.
I think the best things for this season were the songs and the final.
usually I enjoys that types of ending, but that particular one - sucks balls.
Also season two was a big disappointed due to vince voungh and that crappy ass director. I mean, damn, plot was fine, couldn't you guys just stick to the same director, and find someone who could actually ACT? Shame to see all that potential from the script goes to trashcan.

I went nuts with this finale. The desert's scene was intense and deserve an Emmy. Vince Vaughn gave us what he has been hidding the whole season. Chills all over my body. I'm rooting for a season 3! Please HBO, renew this amazing serie. I mean, you already renewed Ballers, who is one of the worst show I've ever seen, so do this favor for us.
