The third season definitely feels like the most Tom Clancy-inspired so far. “Jack Ryan” has always had a more Bourne-like atmosphere, so it’s pleasing to see it live up to its name, even if it is still a loose adaptation.

Overall, “Druz’ya I Vragi,” the fifth episode, continues the good run, and I look forward to seeing how the next three episodes wrap everything up. In the end, I’m hoping for a satisfactory resolution to all the betrayal and intrigue that’s been brewing throughout the season.

03x05 - Druz'ya I Vragi: 7.6/10 (Impressive)

I have to say that the beginning of the Season was a bit slow and perhaps boring but hey ! I get it, the analytics are also part of CIA Operations so I'm fine.

That was a whole different kind of hallway fight scene.

I like a good story full of twists and turns but not for the sake of appearing smarter than you are. Luka could have told jack or showed him the site or the very least confirm it all while they chatted on the train. It would have went a long way in the trust department.. just running in circles and I hate that. Story is good it’s just that it was unnecessary just to add an episode or 2 more to end up and the same spot

Quite a complex story.

"My family for yours."
I would've liked to learn more about Alena's head of security. It sucks that her father got away with all of it.

Gocharov is quite some character... :o :D Even Jack is probably confused.

That HMG support from the chopper was quite handy!

First of all, they got awfully quick from Budapest to that Russian outpost... and why return to Finland? So, now we do have some kind of nuclear device in the hands of that Russian agent who wants to use it to smoke out who else's involved on the Russian side. Okay.

And then there's the whole Kovac, Kovac, security agent confrontation... seems a bit like a filler plot, too early in the season to actually be interesting. Honestly, the whole episode sort of felt like a midseason finale - mind you, without the suspense something like that should contain.

It was like an episode of Strike Back.
