Klaus and Five are just awesome!
so fucking good season!
I love this show!
Not the strongest episode of the season, definitely a bit bleak for a season finale but still enjoyable to watch with some both funny and sad moments. The overall second season was good and I enjoyed it.
I am looking forward to season three and I hope that people responsible for music are going to raise the bar once again ;)
A solid ending to an entertaining season, and I'm glad that we'll be getting more of this. I'm also glad that Lila is still out there...somewhere.
Great wrap up to the season and another time jump mishap to roll into the next. At least it isn't an apocalypse this time! I wonder if we're getting 'alt' versions of them all. Oooh it'll be like the alt verse from Fringe!
Wow, that scene at the barn was incredible. All of it. The fight with Lila in itself was so intense, and I really feared for Allison. The whole thing with the handler, but something had to happen to stop her so I thought at first either one survived it or Harlan comes around and does something... And boom, at that point I had all forgotten about the Swede, fantastic cinematic deception here.
And the ending is so wonderful and bittersweet at the same time. I mean, it's mostly fucking heartbreaking. In a "I guess it had to be that way but wish it didn't fuck I hate life" kind of thing haha. I'm really happy about how Vanya is now a bigger part of the family, accepted, closer.
But so many sacrifices on the way. Sure, they saved the world, I guess. But for a fate. At least they've got each other, one could say.
The part at the end with the Swede and the bus ahahahah! It's like he's "Oh boy... here goes nothing" :joy:
I did suspect Harlan still having some residue of power. And I'm thinking, he's what like, 10 in in the 60s... so he would probably still be alive in their real time-line... Is that what season 3 is going to be about? In that case I'm not really expecting it to be the sweet "here-we-meet-again" as one would hope.
Love how Klaus took the hat. He's such a fashionista. "We actually succeeded at something?!?! That's incredible!" Bless you and your heart.
THE ENDING THOUGH
THE ENDING
YES
Sorry, but it just makes me happy when time-travelling is involved and people of COURSE mess up shit so nothing is as expected. Just... OH SHIT hahaha.
So looking forward to the next round, this one was incredible.
Honestly got upset at the fact that their problem was yet again another apocalypse caused by Vanya, but the season turned out to be pretty good in the end. The handler's comeback was unexpected and too unlikely to survive a bullet in the head, but let's go with it. Her daughter Lila was, for me, the best addition they could've done to the season, I absolutely loved her and her marvellous British accent. Her disappearance was weird and kinda off. Also didn't like that the handler was killed by the last swede as he wasn't even supposed to be alive in the first place. He attacked Allison and she made him kill his brother, why didn't she kill him too? Why didn't he try to kill her for what she did? It doesn't make sense.
Now, it made A LOT of sense for Reginald to not adopt those kids cause he met them in the past and saw that apparently, it didn't end well, but how did he know which ones not to adopt? If the Umbrella Academy group still exists in 2019 that means they had to be born again, so is there one more version to each of them out there somewhere? Why did 43 women have a baby at the same time out of nowhere? How did that happen? Did Reginald cause it? If so, why 43 if he only adopts 7? Where are the other kids? Isn't Reginald a weird alien or something like that? Why does he need the kids? What does he get from it? What happened to the old Five and that timeline he jumped to? So many unanswered questions!
The soundtrack choice was so well done, incredible! For the next season, I'll try to predict that Lila will be one of the adopted kids and a member of the Sparrow Academy, as well as Harlan. I guess we'll see if I'm right in a year or so.
Can’t wait for the next season!
Pretty enjoyable, very bingeable. Certainly beats the first season. Starts to drag a bit towards the end and gets somewhat contrived but the ending is still solid. The season constantly took turns I wasn't expecting, keeping it fresh and entertaining. Was expecting it all to wrap up nicely so the last moments were a real mindfuck. Aidan Gallagher was fantastic throughout as Five. Plus enjoyed Klaus' arc, and Diego had some good moments as well.
Mr Hargreeves took a definite glee in going against what they said happened. (Sparrow! Lmao)
Please tell me Klaus's cult is still active in 2020...
Very good season, and an even better ending.
I feel like I'm in the minority when I say I liked the first season better.
Don't get me wrong, this season was very enjoyable and great character development but there was something missing for me...
Done watching the season 2 finale just now with the lovebunny!! What a load of BULLSHIT this was!! It's like the writers just pulled out the first turd they laid in the toilet and put it on film. Very funny...laughed a lot...facepalmed even more. Still gunna watch Season 3 though!
Good/interesting ending and setup for the next season, but overall, this was a disappointing finale. The Lila twist seemed really out of nowhere, and the Harlan stuff completely missed the mark for me.
love this show, number 5 is my favorite character but then again all of them are amazing aren't they?! where's my season 3, dammit!?!
good season overall. The music might have made this season better than the first. Though, there were similar tones used in this season as the first, i was still pleasantly surprised.
i've just witnessed tua beat the shit out of every other show in its genre in cold blood
I meannnnnnn...... it was a good ending, I liked how it ended with shitttt, but I feel like it could have been better, the sparrow academy, I get this is based on comics though I should probably give them a read. Ending could have been better, season as a whole, good. I guess, just good. Not amazing, not terrible, it was... good.
Time travel is killing the buzz of the show , they don’t seem to stick on to main characters much , even sex education was same !
Both had sloppy and circling story line in their second season
Great finale!!!
But since when can Diego stop bullets? Did I miss something??
I love to see them finally acting like a family!!
P.S. It made me so happy to see Klaus be the first one to come for Vanya! That was honestly really cute <3
A great season, bring on Season 3
Good end to a surprisingly good season.
Parra for Cuva - Wicked Games (feat. Anna Naklab)
The world was on fire and no one could save me but you
It's strange what desire will make foolish people do
I never dreamed that I'd meet somebody like you
And I never dreamed that I'd lose somebody like you
No, I don't wanna fall in love (this world is only gonna break your heart)
No, I don't wanna fall in love (this world is only gonna break your heart)
With you
With you (this world is only gonna break your heart)
What a wicked game you play, to make me feel this way
What a wicked thing to do, to let me dream of you
What a wicked thing to say, you never felt this way
What a wicked thing to do, to make me dream of you
And I don't wanna fall in love (this world is only gonna break your heart)

This season proves that a lot of the same ingredients can work more than once. In this case it works even better than the first season.
There’s more character build up and maybe even better music choices.
