After the last season I was getting very concerned but I was wrong. This show is BACK and with a vengeance. The writing and dialog is strong again, pacing is on point, no dumb bs. It just feels like The Expanse again
(minus Naomi's plot.... but yeah)
I was gonna kick back, relax, and watch this new episode with a cup of coffee . Instead I sat up straight on the edge of the couch tense AF the entire time. My coffee is untouched and cold now and I don't even care. Holy cow! Awesome episode!
Damn this show! What an episode, this halfway mini-finales are some of the finest moments on tv history.
This is like an A grade film
I might have blinked maybe 4 time the entire show. This is some high energy richness!!! Well done!!!
OKAY THIS WHAT IM TALKING BOUT! THIS is what I love about The Expanse. I don’t know how to feel about the Naomi plot tho… as well as Marcos and Filip I loved the scenes with Alex and Bobby, I really like them together, they’re a very wholesome duo.
Shit just got REAL, and i am INVESTED. Shit got PERSONAL. This episode turned the whole show around, to my incredible surprise. I hate Marco, and i am invested in watching him be defeated. What a surprisingly great episode that has turned the whole show around for me.
A perfect episode, then ruined by Naomi. They need to terminate her 'storyline'
Watching genocide bums me out.
Whoa, what an episode. The Expanse is back with vengeance!
What an epic episode! Things are ramping up and I was not prepared for the surprises that left me totally shocked and thrilled. This episode demonstrates why The Expanse is an amazing show.
That was so FREAKING EPIC!!
This is probably the most perfect episode I have ever seen. Visual spectacle and drama perfectly combined.
After the speech at the end I almost want to root for Marco Ineros.
Talks about being free, while putting a giant size target on their backs. That's idiocy
The Razorback scenes weren't as intense as I hoped but they were still cool and maybe the awesome ones are yet to come :)
Bobbie's story about he pet rat "Mouse" was fun though xD
Amos survived the first asteroid, which is great! The body mods of the inmates gave me Cyberpunk vibes :) Clarissa Mao's life inside the supermax prison seems so really suck... I wonder if Amos will help her to escape after the second asteroid apparently damaged the prison (which might give them a chance - I wonder if we'll see that guy with the huge body mod again).
Ignoring/blackballing Avasarala was a really bad decision that seems to have caused millions of lives! At least Nancy Gao thanked her before she died. I wonder who her successor will be and which role Avasarala will get to play (or if she'll even become the secretary general again).
The corridor scene at Tycho station was nice. I found it funny that there where people "upsidedown" because there is no up or down for an external observer without gravity.
I used to like Sakai but I really really hate her now! Shooting Fred three times in the back wasn't cool at all... I don't even understand her motivation yet. Both Fred and Jim are trying to "fight" for the belt! At least she didn't kill Jim as well.
RIP Fred. It was not the death he deserved but at least he'll be remembered.
That robot/droid who stole the protomolecule sample was really badass (even though that sucked). It didn't give a fuck about anyone (except when Jim almost managed to stop it) and quickly fulfilled his mission.
Jim's face when he saw it escaping with the sample was really priceless!
Monica seems to be part of the action now as well.
I'm really excited to find out how this'll continue. There are so many possibilities now for Amos, Clarissa, Avasarala, Alex, Bobbie, Jim, Monica, etc (also Naomi but I didn't like the scenes around Marco and Filip that much so far).
