I refuse to let the last minute ruin the preceding 42, but what the hell was that?
One of the best episodes so far! It was so absolutely beautiful. From the scenery in Eros to the way they concluded Miller and Julies storyline. When I first started the show I wasn’t expecting to enjoy Miller’s character this much, but damn it I did. I also didn’t expect Miller to kiss Julie (or whatever was left of her) so that was a bit of a surprise, but nonetheless great ep. The last 10 minutes filled me with so many emotions and made me cry my eyes out. RIP kopeng mi Mila!
Human feeling, human contact, "I want to go home"
OMG!!! This is the only reaction I have for this episode.
The Eros station, aka huge asteroid/moon/rock, has been completely taken over by the protomolecule. Not only is it covering the rock, but it's also controlling the navigation directing it to collide with Earth.
Rocinante crew are the only people who really know what's really going on on Eros. Our space cowboys are put into the impossible position of stopping the asteroid, using only their wits, ship, nuclear weapons and Miller to stop an exoplanetary "life" from extinguishing life on Earth.
It's interesting to see the undersecreratries deal with the crisis: one wants to use their fist to while Chrisjen is looking to save lives, how ever many they can.
Oh Miller, you are my favorite relectant hero. Everything that has happened to you was because you were too nosy to let it go, but you also never.
Rocinante... fucking space cowboys... wouldn't expect anything else from this group. Chasing after the giant bullseye
When I think this show can't get more insane, we now have ProJulie... The protomolecule infected Julie, but she infected it. Gave it memory, gave it a conscious, gave it humanity.
Holden trusts Miller so much that he goes against all his instincts when Miller asks. These two misfits, finding a bond in unexpectedness
The ProJulie system is so fucking beautiful, like blue florescent fireflies, little bits of Julie reaching out to
we're reminded that Julie is just a kid. caught up in her ideals and wanted a better humanity, but it ate her up like it eats every soldier. She just wants to go home.
Miller promising Julie that she'll never be alone, giving her a hand to hold at the end of the world.
Collides with Venus.
I love it when a female character exists solely for the emotions of a male character. This show did Julie Mao so dirty. Why the fuck would she kiss a guy she doesn't know in the emotional state that she's in? Oh right, cause she's not her own character and exists only to further Miller's needs and wishes.
OMFG The music was so horrible, it was like a knife through my brain. I wanted to stop it somehow but keep hearing the dialog... Who ever decided to put it there please go shoot yourself, it was worse than nails on the blackboard. A very good episode but i can't get passed it. The entire episode will be characterized by awful awful music.... And i dont say this lightly... I've never in my life noticed bad music in a movie
Love comes and ends in the strangest place, and perhaps Miller's love story is one of those few that makes sense when one person's sacrifice saves millions others.
The episode concludes their arc beautifully. It starts with a weary, hardened life of a Belter in a routine job, got caught in webs of strings larger than themselves, then they got back right at where they started - the mystery, the bird, the girl, even though they might be a mere artificial replica of it. Their obsession and goal might seem strange to some, but having lost their job and purpose, it would make sense to cling on something that they have been pursuing all along. The scene where we thought they might find refugee in salvation in the Nauvoo evokes the disorientation they have been having, and the way this episode closes back to what led them to this in the first place is done right.
The last few minutes were mesmerizing and beautifully sad. Blue glimmering light shines upon the dark hallways of abandoned station. "There's alien life in the universe, and I'm riding it," said Miller, before they end up appreciating what waited for them in the end of the hallway. Strong performances by the actor has made them one of my favorite characters in The Expanse, and I will miss their wit, but this is a concluding episode well done.
After Millers suit ruptured (previous episode) and he put the patch on it he checked his computer which showed 13:48. Before that happened it was around 56 minutes so it is logical to assume it is his oxygen supply.
Now he walked around in his suit for basically the whole episode. Am I to assume that everything here took place in under 14 minutes ???
I don't understand why Miller is so obsessed with her, but other than that it's great!
this episode was amazing. the best episode of the series. season 2 es better than one. great show.
Stunning, beautiful, emotional ... a fantastic journey.
Wow! And thus ends one of the stranger love stories in sci-I literature. Beautiful and moving.
WTF? Best episode ever! I'm afraid this show won't be able top top this but let's see. One of my favorite shows nowdays.
Such a wonderful episode, could have been a finale it was that good. Finally, answers and loose ends tied up.
The end scene with Julie was excellent. I absolutely loved the music in that scene as well.
Season 2 was looking so incredible... Until this godawful episode. What happened??
dude what the hell is happening ???
Wow, this was truly a epic episode. Amazing story telling. I’m blown away.
Turns out Avasarala was right to be scared of big rocks :o :D
Wonderful episode, did an amazing job showing everyone's character. There was a bit of silliness with respect to timelines, but I'm willing to suspend my disbelief for the purposes of plot, especially since they had me biting my nails.
If I could rate this episode higher than a 10 I would. So, so beautiful. I'm going to go cry now.
jesus christ this was an infuriating episode. why the fuck is miller strolling around eros like hes just on a walk taking in the sights?? while missiles are about to hit it and the crew on the roci was basically dying trying to keep up with the rock. also i dont know why some people are saying this was a beautiful love story with a complete arch when it was just a completely one sided obsession by a creepy man who calls the julie "kid" and then two minutes later just kisses her?? SHE HAS NEVER MET THIS MAN BEFORE THIS SCENE WHAT IS GOING ON? i fucking hope hes dead for real now i dont want to see this dumbass storyline picked up again.

This episode will be polarizing, but we can all agree it was good, borderline great. No matter what viewpoint you are watching it from. From a thriller, to a romantic love story to sacrifice...Wow I got the feels from this one.
