The Martian Marines are so annoying, I hate ever second that they Gunnery Sergeant in on screen, I already know that they are going to go against orders and start some conflict.
so if the Martions live on a planet that has lower gravity then Earth wouldnt they be more physically inept then the Earthlings, and not bodybuilders like everyone thinks they are?
and for all those saying that their full g gravity training is an adequate excuse ,earth soldiers LIVE(and obviously also train) at full g so....
I'm on "evil" scientists side. No point in stopping now or destroying unethically obtained data. If we did it irl, 2 countries wouldn't have had space programs in the 60s.
Martians would be perfectly fine trope, except that they all overacting I don't by their nationalism or comradery.
Water thief overacted, but it works for his character. Same with the scientist that actually did great job selling his obsession. Martians just time bomb at this point. I got used to odd scene or two from Holden and Miller.
Amos is my favorite character and I usually hate those type of characters. Cudos to writers and actor on making it work. They sidelined Naomi hard this season, sadly.
Are they hinting on Julie being alive in some form? Let me guess, stupidly emotional, Miller gonna abort his plan of destruction the moment he will see some form of Julie on Eros, right?
I just need to state that Camina Drummer is also such a cool character. I really like the acting and especially her accent. Makes me wonder how much of that accent comes naturally from the actress and how much of it she had to learn/train for this show.
I generally wonder how difficult it is to fluently speak the Belter Creole (luckily they already have their lines but I imagine it's still not that easy).
Anyway, even though Belter is difficult to understand (many new words and expressions to learn) it's also really awesome and my new favorite fictional language.
The series continues to improve, the thing continues to complicate

Damn this show just gets more complicated with each episode.
Chrisjen finally learns the truth behind Johnson abandoning earth military and joining OPA, turns out Earth is run by bullies who want control of all, willing to sacrifice anyone for their ends. She might be part of the UN Council, but she won't let anyone die if it can be avoided.
Holden, Miller and Johnson are all working toward the same goal: figure out what the ProtoMolecule is and how to stop it, but each has a different idea to get there. Miller buldowses anything in his way, using his detective skills to deceive, getting the info he needs and putting the pieces of the puzzle together; Johnson is a miliatry guy, he's all about strategy and using whatever is presented infront of him to keep moving foward, while Holden is the leader with the vision of a better tomorrow, trying to play by rules that he only follows: honor and truth.
The alien life form is growing and transforming, but into what?
Meanwhile the Martians are in a hold pattern, do they move against Earth and start a war or can they put their restlessness behind them and focus on home?
