“Drooling and pooping around the house.”
“Takes after her father.”
"Come on old man. It's way past your bedtime."
Rupert already hates Bex. It's amazing :D
It's still not a complex multidimensional show that features sophisticated jokes, but it's nice to watch. Sometimes you don't ask for more. I appreciate that they also continue to tell the more serious story about Ted's private life. Soccer scenes are still bad, but the second half of the match was actually something.
I especially like it when the show tells about the women in the show. The pixelation in the "you don't know who I am" commercials are hilarious.

If Anderson Cooper ever released a rap album, let this be his album title.
Another Ted Lasso banger. The emotions, humor, and writing seem to be as good as ever right now and I'm absolutely loving the places they're taking the characters this season. One thing I loved here was seeing just how far the team has come and how much they've changed from where we find them in season 1. They care so much about the Ted Lasso way, which was demonstrated by how much they love the "Believe" mantra and sign, and how mad they got when they saw the video of Nate ripping it. Another thing I loved was how playing angry made them so much worse. Angry is very much not the Lasso way, and you see how awful they play when they abandon it. It shows that despite his lack of tactical strategy or knowledge of the game, Ted's way of coaching does help the team in other ways. Loved getting more of Nate again and seeing the cracks in his facade. He wanted to apologize to Ted a number of times this episode but either chose not to or couldn't, and Ted's kind-hearted spirit shining through even with Nate is perfect. I think Nate is starting to notice how bad of a role model Rupert is, but it's up to him to not allow himself to follow in those footsteps. If and when Nate and Ted make up, it's going to hit hard emotionally because of this build up.
This was a confusing and frustrating but a good episode. Really makes me root for Ted and his team even more. Excited to see where this season goes!
Now see, this is fascinating because I have no idea which way Ted's going to go. In an odd way, Sassy's wise rejection of a date actually makes me think she will be the long term, once Ted sorts out his mess. (I liked them S1 and the fact they both had kids was a thing that I thought would come into play at some point if Henry visited). Ted & Rebecca has always felt like something parts of the fandom have rooted for, but I never felt it in the show (romantically, at least). And that ending throws Michelle back into the mix.
Fantastic episode all told though. How long before Nathan's deal with the devil finally backfires?
This was one of the best episodes in the series. It explores the highs and lows of life in parallel with the he most important match of Richmond's season. It shows that life isnt always fair, the bad guys sometimes win and strength of character. Most of all, it is a brilliant display of how human lives are intertwined, and because of this, how often, some people's wins can be other people's losses.
Back on form in a big way.
The match between West Ham and Richmond was the a-story, of course. But behind all of that the episode was really about Ted and Nate. Except… behind all of that the episode was really, really about Ted and Michelle.
An episode about betrayal, hurt, pain, and… confrontation without anger.
10/10
That was pretty rough. After the sweetness of the previous episode, it was a wide swing.
Sassy turning down Ted is realistic. He's got work to do and it's rare you see media recognise that.
My dislike for Nate is so strong it's credit to the actor and the writing. Maybe it's also the realism of his character that gets me. He's not a 2 dimensional villain, there are layers there for sure. It's not black and white, he clearly still hesitates in his ways. But his narcissm shines through in everything he does. I love that the restaurant host could see that and gave him zero fucks.
And then, a wild Jodi Balfour appeared! Wasn't expecting that. Seems to have knocked Keeley right off balance. There's definitely some attraction there. That'll be an interesting development. She's never been shy about complimenting women so it's not unexpected per se but I didn't think they would do anything with it. Looking forward to seeing how that goes.
Also Shandy's character is ughh. I think that'll be a work in progress for our Keeley as well.
Not the best episode. When it tries to be dramatic it fails, repeatedly and spectacularly. The less said about the "match", the better.
I imagine someone at this club that apparently has always-on camera filming the changing room is making a fortune selling the videos on niche sites...
Also, what kind of a team allows extra intensive training sessions for a key player? Nonsense.

The happiness I feel when I'm watching Ted Lasso is inexplicable. it's a feeling of comfort/peace, even when you're in a sad moment.
