BENJAMIN “COACH” WADE. WHAT A GOD. Another season that was pretty cutthroat, but it also had great casting. I liked pretty much everyone in the season, and it had a great winner. Loved Tyson, JT, Fishbach, Taj, Brendan, Sierra, Erinn.
This was the first full Survivor season I watched and honestly, I developed a connection with the cast as a whole. It didn't feel like a lot of people were out there trying to play the game that hard, but it was kind of cozy binging it in a whole 2 days pretty much. I liked the characters like Coach as he made things funny af despite not seeming like the best person. What it lacked in strategic gameplay, it made up for in heart and coziness. The merge was the best part of the season as we saw tons of drama and iconic scenes like Coach on exile and memorable quotes. Again, the fact that JT was not targetted once was disappointing. Seeing him win every single immunity was also a little frustrating. Overall, I am happy I chose this as my first full Survivor season and will not forget the experience I had with it.

Tocantins was a really solid season and was a definite step up from the previous season that was Gabons. This season sees the introduction of a completely new cast that ultimately generated many of Survivors most memorable characters! Tyson, Coach, JT, Stephen, and Taj are all some of the most memorable names from the 40 seasons of Survivor and will definitely please the audience to see their origin season. While this season will not go down for having big, super splashy moves beyond a typical blindside, it sees a dominant winner. In fact, the winner is the first "perfect game" of any season (received no votes to evict, and was a clean sweep in the final vote). If you like Survivor, there is no reason you wouldn't enjoy this season.
