Still going strong in it's 5th season!
Season 5 is the best in terms of creative content.
It is funny, dark and the plot has been followed righteously.
Even if I am not a fan of Zacharia, this character brought a whole new dynamic to the show.
With "Changing channels" and "The real gostbusters" (my two favourite episodes of SPN) the writers blessed us with the best comical scenes of the show.
And not to mention the guest stars.
I'll be coming back to those episodes, for sure.

Some consider Season 5's finale as the "End of Supernatural", not in the "jump the shark" way, but because the ending was so amazing, that it was the high-point of the series. I would agree, but that doesn't mean the episodes after aren't worth watching. Just maybe give yourself some time between S5 and the rest.
