Who asked for another standalone monster of the week episode this close to the ending?

Literally: no one!

Are we setting up a happy ending for Dean? That would be nice.

bit of a boring one (4 episodes to the finale and theyre fuckin around w little stuff like this) but it was kinda nice to see more of their childhood. the new kid actors are soo weird lol i get it the old ones have grown up too much by now but its weird seeing different faces to represent them as kids

Why the hell are we still getting filler episodes this close to the grand finale???

Interesting how we keep running into these "childhood friends" when it was previously said they didn't have friends due to always travelling.

15 minutes into the episode, and I'm already so bored that I'm checking to see how much time is left.

Why is Sam acting like he and Dean have been honest with each other for years? Didn't he hide his connection with Chuck from Dean? And I don't know if it's just me, but Sam seemed more upset about Dean hiding the truth than about the fact Jack is planning to sacrifice himself...

On replays, Chuck seems like he's just playing villain.

Meh. No cute angel in trench coat and their three year old son.

Monster of the week episode reminding you of how much John Winchester sucks.

What is with Team Free Will and not communicating??? I KNOW IT ADDS SPICE BUT I AM EXHAUSTED.

Crap episode and I didnt like the young Sam and Dean. It doesn't matter though.

This was quite a weak episode all round. The only interesting and important bit, considering we're this close to the end of the entire show, was the scene with Dean and Billie. I wasn't averse to a monster-of-the-week episode at this point but the story and mystery to this was minimal and it wasn't helped by generally weak acting.
