Wow, it's so hard to duck those darts lol.
"We'll figure something else out. And if that doesn't work, then we'll move on to next, and then whatever's after that. We just keep working, 'cause it's what we do".
That ending was just perfect. That brother moment with Dean's dedication theme in the background and a full on hope Dean comforting Sam was so lovely. I couldn't agree more with Sam when he said it was really good to hear Dean talk like that again. It filled my heart with warm feelings. I'm so glad Dean's finally talking like that.
Overall, the episode was much more enjoyable than I expected. Indeed, it was so much fun. Classy Supernatural episode with a flair of the Heist. Bring it! Sure it had it's things, but it was enjoyable, though. I love how much Sam cares about Jack and how badly he wants to find him. That's just lovely.
Once again, Jensen Ackles got to shine. I can't stop laughing at the fact that he was a human compass. The music accompaniment was just the cherry on the top. That was so much fun. It must've been a difficult scene to shoot.
I died laughing at the blood spell scene. Jensen is way too good at comedy, none words uttered, yet it was hilarious. I love how they gank monsters every day yet they're afraid of those mundane things. Dean trying to find another way to kick the spell in that didn't involve him putting his paw in it reminded me so much to the scene when he didn't want to go down the hole in "Tombstone". I wonder how much of it was improv.
That little scream when his finger was pocked almost brought me to tears. That was so funny.
I loved when Sam was nerding out about the fang of the Basilisk. Nerdy Sam, along with smarty Sammy, is my favourite Sam. And he mentioning Entrapment because has a crush on Catherine Zeta Jones, lol.
I hate when they label Dean as "not the smart one" or "just a pretty face" because he always proves to be useful and not dummy at all.
"Dean? Don't get dead". That was so cute and lovely. I love how instead of saying "be careful"or" take care" they go with something more Winchester-like, like simply dying.
I like Smash and Grab. Smash reminded me so much of Charlie. Even the bus scene recalled that with Charlie. I hope she comes back someday soon.
That low-rent Crowley made a terrible mistake: never underestimate the boys. In the wise words of the King of Hell "am I the only game piece of the board who doesn't underestimate those denim-wrapped nightmares?" There's a reason why Crowley survived that long.
I love how every demon apparently has the boys' phone number and how Bart tried to convince Dean by ordering him cherry pie. I was waiting for him to eat it at the end and he did, lol. Not so sure whether to accept food from demons is safe, though. But like Bart said "How very 'Dean' of you?", lol.
My only problem with the episode was the torch the bones scene. It was really weird how the boys didn't react sooner to the spell burning. When Smash lighted the bones it felt so slow that Bart could've had time to stop her.
Not to mention that Sam tried to extinguish the fire by literally blowing on a flaming piece of paper and when he realized it didn't work he fanned it, wtf? That was so weird. There's nothing much you can do but he could've at least stomped on it, just enough to remove the oxygen. I get he was kind of panicking but he should've known that fanning it wasn't going to do the trick, instead blowing on it would just accelerate the fire, not put it out.
When they were trying to find out how to get to the vault without knowing the proper combination I couldn't help but thinking about doing the Peter Panda dance. It would've been hilarious.
I love the lengths to which the boys went through to get the spell but there must be a copy somewhere. I refuse to believe the museum only has one copy. What's funnyaboutthis is that Jack's probably gonna appear in the bunker next episode like nothing happened.
I'm looking forward to next week's episode. It looks crazy intense.
Nice Game of Thrones reference thrown in for fun. Shrike (Richard Brake) plays the Night King on GoT.
This didn’t feel like a Supernatural episode. It was incredibly subpar and the epitome of filler.

i am kind of disappointed. The Bart thing could have been a new Crowley theme...but they chose to end it so quickly? The boys were too relaxed after losing the paper with the spell. Like there's hundreds of ways to track a nephilem. I dont know this episode was superficial. PS Sam...blowing at a burning paper!? lol
