Bucklemming episode, what can you expect? But, and I can't believe I'm saying this, I enjoyed it. Sure it had its things, mainly silly writing, several plotlines crammed up into 42 minutes, and pacing issues but I loved the constant wtf moments. Plus, I do love me some Mark Pellegrino. I've got a weak spot for the guy and I can't help it.
The writing was not the best but the scenery and direction were great. Good job Richard Speight Jr. I really loved the opening scene, especially the light coming out of Michael's back. It was so nicely done. And Jesus on the cross? I never thought I'd see that on SPN.
For fuck's sake, we just got Cas back. Don't lock him up. We get him back and my sweet cinnamon roll Jack leaves. One episode later, Cas gets separated from the boys and gets locked up. Are we being serious? I'm getting sick and tired of Cas being separated from Sam and Dean. However, I'm all down for some Lucifer-Cas team-up. They're absolute fantastic together. Their scene at the bar had me dying on the floor. Gold.
Lucifer just goes from one cage to another. I can't wait to see them together: two dads and a half-angel. Team Free Will 2.0 might get an upgrade.
Cas: "What are you doing back in this world?"
Lucifer: "What are you doing alive?"
Cas: "It's complicated"
Lucifer: "Same here"
That dialogue cracked me up. These two are amazing.
"Don't do anything stupid", and I thought Cas was going to screw things up with the best of his intentions and without telling the boys. But he did not. Colour me surprised! I'm so glad they are actually talking. That's character development.
Not sure about powerless Lucifer, though. It was one of those wtf moments. It won't be long til he recovers his powers but yet still, it was hilariously unexpected. I loved when he tried to use them and got all offended by those ladies.
I'm loving this Lucifer. The only thing that I dislike is the path the writers are taking with his character. He shouldn't get a redemption arc, he's Satan himself, but it seems like they're going for it. A lot of villains redeemed themselves, but with Lucifer I'm not convinced. Btw, I loved that he was wearing that brown jacket, so similar to Jack's.
"We're sorta all gonna die". Well, isn't that the plot of SPN in a nutshell.
I also enjoyed the Michael interactions. He's the real menace: driven, goal-oriented and willing to do whatever it takes, even if it means getting involved to get the job done.
Different universes, and yet Kevin Tran is still the same. I missed him so damn much, that's why I loved every second he was on scene. I hope he opens that rift and comes back to the Winchesters. He was funny as hell.
The Ketch plot was straight up unbelievable. An evil twin? Really guys? I'm pretty alright with him coming back but the twin plot was stupid. He's a sadistic creepy psychopath (I'll never forgive him for killing Magda) but he's an interesting guy, though. If he indeed is able to make Rowen come back, bring it. But how come he though that the evil twin story was a good idea in the first place? That was so stupid. Their fight scene at the end was great, though.
I'm loving Asmodeus but I can't unsee Evil Colonel Sanders, lol. His first scene on the throne was great. "Does no one think of knocking?" and the cadence on "say what?" were particularly funny. "I have news of the Jack. There is no news of the Jack". I'm surprised Asmodeus didn't kill him.
The pace was definitely off but the content and the storyline were great and set the path of what's to come.
The funniest thing about this episode was Arthur running away from the Winchesters in a hurry, but he still had time to put his motorcycle helmet on before fleeing for dear life.
I don’t think I’ll be happy if Lucifer loses his powers.
I am confused. Bamboozled. What happened?!
It was so funny when Ketch was pretending not to be Ketch. Ridiculous but really funny. Like really??? an identical twin brother???? you expect us to believe this????!!! Did he really think it was going to work. I'm glad he's back actually.

Guys it seems like Kevin is BACK!!!
I swear I felt so happy when he showed up, he's one of my favorite characters in the show
Also our lovely King of Hell is back!!
I liked the plot twist that they did with he's, basically he's back but not fully back, he lost some of his grace and that honestly reminds me of what they did with Cas before
I liked this because Lucifer is sooo freaking powerful and he always face his challenges with violence, but now that he can use his powers he would have to make alliances and plans before any move.. And this is great because we might see him work in some point with the boys I'm not sure but possibly, especially if they knew that he can't use his powers so he's not a danger anymore
Also now there's a new threat and I'm amazed with the writers, they always come up with great ideas to make the show fresh, the new threat is from an alternative universe/reality of earth where its basically compared to earth is Hell so Michael is planning to conquer our reality, we might see more of Lucifer vs Michael face to face battle!!
Another shocking thing is the return of Ketch, at first I thought he somehow came from another alternative reality, then when he said he had a twin brother, I won't lie I believed that, then towards the end of the episode we learned that he's our Ketch and he used a magical spell from Rowena to bring him back to life is he died, but this spell needs to be charged again from time to time to keep working, that's why he was looking for her
Anyway this episode was soooooooo enjoyable
