Niice ep! Naomi, Rowena.... Billie... We got allies all over the place! Gabriel! don't be a child and come back right now, so we can be ready for evil Michael!
Now why in the world would Dean tell Rowena that Sam is the one who kills her.
I mean it's bad enough that they forever dropping every gaddam weapon they have right after they use it to shoot/kill someone but Jesus....whooza... it's just TV, it's just TV :type_5:♀
It's always nice to see Billie and Naomi again. Even though they're not, you know, nice. It'll be interesting to see if Rowena truly is redeemable. And was it just me, or did some of those Crowley-related comments seem to be aimed at Mark Sheppard himself?
Have you ever heard of The Butterfly effect?
Ashton's second best movie.
I'm Dean.
really hate the whole "natural order" thing - if it happened, then it was the natural order, right? good episode just a weak plot. angels were the best part of this episode for sure
Whoa. There's so little angels! That's so sad. (Even though they're mean.)

"Sometimes life is unfair and sometimes we lose things and sometimes we make mistakes. And some of these things can never be fixed no matter how powerful you become. Some things just are, and everyone has to live with that".
It's impressive that after 13 seasons Supernatural stills makes my skin crawl, punches me right in the feels and leaves me heartbroken. There're things in life you can't rewrite and that you have to let go. That's an important life lesson. Buff, I feel like this episode literally shattered my heart into a million pieces.
I feel tired now, as if it had been me the one suffering. Emotions all over the place and deep life lessons that, honestly, gave me the goosebumps. This episode had me on the verge of tears. Seeing Rowena's journey was gut-wrenching. Looking back and seeing how little she cared about Crowley and Oscar, and seeing her now, ready to do whatever it takes to have her son back was really hard. I already know that Crowley isn't coming back to the show, or that Mark Sheppard won't play him, but that little factoid didn't prevent me from enjoying her storyline. I already knew the outcome, but the execution was perfect.
When she talked about wanting Crowley back I couldn't help but thinking of one of her lines: "I hate you because if I didn't, I'd love you". Damn, Rowena has grown so much on me. So damn much.
Ruth Connell is amazing. She's got this aura that makes her shine. Tonight, she was absolutely perfect. I'll never get tired of listening to her accent. It gives me life. Her last scene with Billie made me more emotional than I expected. It was simply beautiful. That was great acting!
I love her bond over the Lucifer trauma with Sam. Listening to her voice breaking when she realized Sam was willing to kill her was tough. The same goes for her last scene: "Of course I'm horrified and scared. My heart may have stopped, but Lucifer isn't the one who's gonna kill me, is he?" That look on her face... I never want Ruth to be gone and I refuse to believe Sam himself kills her. At this point, I only accept a mercy kill.
Rowena's journey wasn't the only one that made me feel bad. I'm impressed the writers managed to make me feel bad for the angels. Kudos to them. Roughly 11 angels left? I knew they were low on numbers but I was thinking more around 100. Heaven having just a few angels surprised me almost even more than Naomi being alive. What terrifies me the most are the possible consequences if someone doesn't make angels soon. The concept is pretty terrifying.
I don't see Gabriel willing to be used as a living angelic battery so I'm guessing Jack would be the one in charge when he comes back.
Naomi being alive was a major wtf moment. Supernatural is killing it this season with these random reveals. I don't know who to expect next. I hated Naomi when she first appeared, but Amanda Tapping has won me over, but I'm still unsure about her being back. Her last scene with Cas in the playground was delightful.
That little montage of Cas in Heaven was weird. Are they teasing Cas as the ruler of Heaven? Cas spends so much time on Earth that it always feels weird to see him in Heaven, as if he were out of place there.
Btw, where the hell was Lucifer when Cas went to pay a visit upstairs? Last we saw him, he was there. And the angels didn't even think that, I don't know, telling Cas Lucifer is the new God is somehow important? Naomi sort of addressed it when she said "the others thought any archangel would do" but it was still weird. Plus, Cas knowing where Lucifer is can be potentially beneficial since they need archangel grace to open the rift. I guess it's all about extending the plot, but yeah, a little knowledge on the Lucifer stuff wouldn't hurt anyone.
The reaper Jessica was fun, I guess. It was kinda awkward having her being the third wheel in the boys search for Rowena. However, I loved the look on Sam's face when she mentioned his "Impressive, extensive array of hair products". Oh, Sam, the truth is out! Somehow, Dean's 3-day-old burger and tentacle porn don't even surprise me.
That brief elevator scene made me giggle. It was fun that they got the same music they used in Hammer of the Gods. Elevator scenes never cease to amaze me.
I'm glad we got to see Billie as Death again. I love the actress. She brings something different to the character. I especially like how she keeps a straight face no matter what happens. I loved when Rowena attacked her and she was just there chilling, hands on her hips, looking like a badass like it was nothing. I still prefer Julian Richings, though.
"Hey, Dean. See you again soon". Well, wasn't that ominous? I still think that Michael is gonna wear Dean by the end of the season.
It was also interesting to see that reapers leave no shadowy marks of wings when they die, despite being angels themselves.
Overall, amazing episode that managed to break my heart even more and that dealt with important life lessons. Plenty of things to go with, and next episode we finally got to see Jack and Mary again. It feels like it's been ages since we last saw them.
