I'm still waiting for someone who really speak in portuguese and non english, but it's a good show
this show is so fucking good been a while since i watched a show this good
What an amazing show... beautifully shot, costumes and props are amazing, and the Cast - - Wow, you can tell they are putting their craft into top gear.
Anna Sawai is excelling in this role... she is far more engaged than in 'Monarch Legacy...'.
If you aren't watching this yet, what the hell are you waiting for?!
I don't know why Hollywood keeps hiring C. Brändström... She's utterly mediocre, lacks any form of authencity, cheap and generic. I didn't know this series would use different directors for episodes. It's my fault though, as this should be expected. While I was watching this very episode, I could tell that it is completely different than the two previous episodes, that it was shot by someone that lacks the critical eye for craftmanship. It's very sad that FX, for a miniseries to remind you, decide to go the cheap and quick production route of hiring different directors for different episodes for effectivity and economical reasons. If you decide to take this route as means for production, please for fuck sakes, hire someone competent... On a happy note though, she's only directed this one.

Does anyone else find the story confusing? Three episodes in and I'm not invested in what I can't follow.
Something about this episode felt off.
The first two were fantastic, but this one felt a bit too hectic and slow at the same time.
And a pilot fighting off trained Japanese soldiers? Not very believable
I don't know how to pin this down exactly but it makes me wonder what Japanese historical dramas (made by Japanese people) are like...
Rarely have I seen such a perfect start to a show. These first three episodes are just marvelous.
Although this is another great episode, I felt that some parts of the story were rushed. It is unclear why this was the case, especially considering that the original adaptation had five episodes, while this one has double that amount. Perhaps the creators wanted to expand the story, but this could have been done in the second season. Additionally, it is possible that my memory is playing tricks on me regarding the original story, which I watched many years ago.
Anyway, this episode was excellent and marks a promising start to what will hopefully be a fantastic adventure.
This episode was a little boring respect of the past two in my idea but great show anyway. I can't wait another week for see the next!

Absolutely outstanding, while I really liked the characters in episodes 1 & 2 i felt like this was the episode that made me fall in love with the majority of them, while also getting more attached to the actual plot. Music, action, acting, cinematography and special moments like the final scene there make this episode a 10/10 for me. Incredible stuff!
