LOL at the prisoner being able to call someone at 3AM
I had no recollection of archie’s uncle so when he was like “okay I’m ready to turn myself in for my crimes as a mercenary” it was wild!
fun revelations in regards to certain mysteries, though great moment for archie
Kinda upset with the ending of the mystery, it was really rushed and felt forced.
Really rushed way to wrap up all those dangling threads. I'm assuming COVID impacted the production of the previous season, but this is not the first time this show has done something like this. They did the exact same thing with the Farm plot between seasons 3 and 4 (quickly wrapping it up in the first 3 episodes of the next season), and that was in 2019 so it doesn't have the COVID excuse. It really strengthens the appearance that they're just making all of this shit up as they go along, and don't actually have concrete plans for the plot.
Hiram yelling at Archie for cheating on Veronica... uh, dude, you quite literally did the exact same thing to your own wife. You have another, illegitimate, child. Get off your high horse.
Speaking of his wife - what a way to write off Hermione, lmao. How exactly is she going to be a Housewife of New York if she's divorced?
The conversation Betty had with Joan's mother was hilarious. That is not a realistic conversation that would ever happen in real life. "I want to speak to Joan." "She's dead. Who are you?" "I'm a classmate." "Donna?" "Yep, Donna, that's me! How did she get murdered?" "Oh sure, suspicious person who claimed to be the first name I offered, let me tell you everything about how my daughter was murdered!" Fucking lol.
"The fact that he filmed the inside of our house means he's been in it many times." Fucking what? What the hell kind of logic is that? It makes no goddamn sense.
"I figured we should have this conversation over drinks." Jughead is 18! He can't legally buy drinks! This fucking show and underage drinking, man... it's so stupid.
Both reveals seemed rushed and somehow anti-climatic at the same time. It almost felt as if they just wanted to finish up the storylines as quickly as possible. I wonder if that ending was the original one they had imagined or if COVID changed their plans.
Jughead has a laptop and I think everyone has cell phones. So why are they still using VCRs ? Jellybean being behind the tapes as well is pretty disappointing.

anti climactic ending to a pretty exciting storyline. So Betty and Jughead spend all this time trying to figure out who was behind the tapes and killings. Turns out it's what most of us already expected. Charles basically reacted like 'yeah, so I killed a bunch of people but who cares right, I did it for love' and Jughead reacted to his sister being the auteur as mildly impressed by the props and decor building of her and her friends. What??! Only in Riverdale... Sad to see the storyline end though, it was one of the better ones and I'm also sad to see Bret go.
