Feels like every episode there’s a High School dance lol. Predictably Hiram will be Archie’s enemy again.
Cheryl is a really really unlikable character god damn. Nobody in this damn show ever faces consequences for their shitty actions, but to Cheryl even the idea of consequences that she won't have to face is some kind of injustice. And her dream was to be a high school prom queen? Her whole identity is based around being popular in high school.

Ah the madness that is Riverdale returns in full glory. It did not disappoint in regards of the over the top crazy. My favorite being that Betty and Jug just went and asked Cheryl, Kevin and Reggie to help create a fake snuff film and they were basically like 'yeah okay, cool, I got nothing else to do anyway so...'
I was most thrilled to see Brett again. I just love seeing the Stonewall preppies, that storyline was really cool last season so.
What I really found idiotic was that apparently at senior prom all parents attend as well plus the kid that only came to town for a boxing match with Archie. I half expected Charles to be there as well since you know, the entire town was there. But that's Riverdale of course. Good to see the show back though, it's a welcome break from our own crazy reality nowadays.

The video store creep was literally raided by the FBI mere days ago. Then some random (to him) teenagers come in trying to pawn off a snuff film. He doesn't find that the least bit suspicious? Also, Betty immediately offering another video once the first one fails is even more suspicious. How stupid can you be?
"If they're showing the Auteur's films, that means he's here." No, that absolutely is not guaranteed. He doesn't have to physically be there himself for his films to be shown. Where is the logic? (Side note - I hate that he's now referred to as the Auteur as a proper name. Ugh.)
"That's him!" says Jughead, indicating the weirdo in the mask down the hall. Who? What? Why?? How the fuck did he come to that conclusion?! Again, there's no logic!
Why the fuck is Jellybean at a rave?! She's like 14! That's ridiculous!
"I won't allow you to date a Blossom." Uh, Toni has been living with Cheryl for like 2 years. She's also 18 now. What the hell is the mom going to do about it? She has nothing meaningful to hold over Toni. Of course, the show will pretend like she does.
It was funny that Cheryl was all like "look at us we're gay" during the acceptance speech, but then didn't invite Kevin and Fangs to dance with them. Already hit the inclusion/diversity quota, I guess.
It's hilarious that the Riverdale "teen" gang already all look way too old. Then they have Archie fight someone who is supposed to be the same age, and he is very obviously even older. That guy was like 20 years older than he was supposed to be, lol.
Oh yeah, of course a snuff film gets played in front of everyone at prom. God, this show is so stupid, lmao. Also, why were all the songs they played from the 90s?
