I think this episode jumped the shark, spun around and jumped it going back the other way. I’m reevaluating whether to continue watching this series.
I still haven't the slightest clue how this connects with the Batman franchise.
Concerning the Raven Society and the No-Name-League I feel I'm watching a satire. The rest of this episode felt closer to Penny Dreadful or Lucifer.
What a muppet. Alfred screwed up catching the fella. I think Alfred and Beth could become good mates!
I think the writers made a mistake to advance the storyline of Alfred pursuing Esme's killer and having him find him in this episode or at least having the storyline with Aleister in this episode too. Because; it was a whole lot more intriguing and enjoyable. Alfred's storylines should be more interesting, and enjoyable: because the show is about him. That wasn't the case this time. And while it should be, I don't have a problem with it in this instance because as I already mentioned, I found the storyline with Aleister more intriguing and enjoyable.
