This was a return to form after last week's horrendous showing
The doctor's character arc was well written and the plot wasn't predicable.
I don't know why the show insists on making Maddie's case a long running storyline. The first episode simply wasn't good enough to merit so much screen time devoted to it. The sequences just dragged on.
Please stick to the procedural format, or come up with a better background case.
