It's stupid that they are calling this a part 1 for Law & Order: Organized Crime S02E20, it has nothing to do with that episode whatsoever! Big deal, Olivia is in that episode, guess you call that a crossover but that's all it was, NOT a continuation or part 1 and 2. Still good episodes though.
love the few moments we have with Olivia and Noah. their relationship is so pure and heartwarming.
the real life case they borrowed themes from for this episode was way more horrific honestly, but that's how real life goes. this actor's been creeping me out since under the dome was on tv.

I first thought that the twist involving the father was going to be that he was a willing cuck and watched them have sex, or something. (I didn't know it was based on a real story.)
The "crossover" part of this episode is a single scene with Stabler at the very end of the episode, and it was only included in the broadcast version. Streaming versions of this episode cut that scene. So this really is not a two-parter whatsoever.
