I love how they got the actual sons of the actors to play the young versions of the characters.

Carolyn is such an interesting character. She always manages to surprise me. How well where the young Carolyn and Konstantin cast? Especially Carolyn. The actress really made herself familiar with the subtle ways in which Fiona Shaw speaks and moves. As soon as the young Konstantin laughed I knew who he really was. That laugh gets me every time. Interesting to learn that both of them where present when the Twelve came to be. I wonder how this plays out though, wouldn't both of them know the identity of the original members? Are those members at the top or not? Konstantin isn't and Carolyn isn't even a part of the Twelve she is on the opposite side. Wouldn't Helene be hunting them down too?
The ending of this episode proves once again that Eve cares about Villanelle, more than she lets on. Obviously she's not dead right? With three more episodes left she can't be, right? What I wonder though is who shot that arrow... was is Konstantin?
I can forever appreciate the song that plays for Villanelle and Konstantin since the beginning.

What the hell? Four seasons and now they want to kill off Vilanelle?
Plus, taking a daughter for an “adventure” and outright killing someone’s person is barely measurable. What the heck. I hope this isn’t what happened. I do realise the show has Eve’s name, not hers, and I realise the title, but still.
What the heck. No.

In other news… the 12 started as a student atheist group? Or were they already assassins and agents all of them? Hmm.

To those who complained after the last episode - things finally started to get interesting...

this was a really good episode so far in this season

Oh this was really really good!
I want a prequel of young carolyn. But if I get this correctly, Konstantin is the reason her dad AND her son are dead? And she keeps forgiving him?

Young Konstantin was unmistakable with that laugh. Absolutely nailed it. The flashbacks were a bit so so. I was also wondering why everyone was speaking English in Berlin until it was revealed that Johan was Finnish.

I do like Eve embracing her dark side and loved the moment between Villanelle and Konstantin. It does all still feel very hollow though. Do I say that every time? Idk, it just does.

Also could not care less about assassin trainee girl. Yawn Town.

I like the idea of Villanelle as a Samaritan.
But I wish they would treat her better and she would have a stronger role.

The fashion shows: again scenes that might have been fun to shoot but are boring and unnecessary. But accompanied by dramatic music.

Stealing/threatening a kid seems unlike every odd iteration of Eve we’ve met up to now. I get that those are the questions they want us to be asking but that means the show’s darkness is now the primary character.
