This one felt a lot better though the gal pals from the other school were a bit ehh oddly written and acted. But cute.

What an adorable and wholesome episode!
This show is ridiculously cute so far, especially everything centered on Charlie and Nick that is fairly true to the source material. The secondary characters aren't fully clicking for me yet, although I am amused by Tori always lurking around the corner drinking beverages through a straw. The animated details brought in from the comics are a nice touch; I really liked the representation of the lightning as Nick's hand hovered over Charlie's. Great casting for Nick, as Kit Connor does indeed have the demeanor and easy likability of a golden retriever.

Snoozed on the first part of the episode, but I don't know if it deserves a good rating just because of a super romantic, cute, heartwarming ending with good music. That's just cheating.
