Yikes, the CGI is like watching Halo gameplay footage
This is moving along about as fast as the Mandalorian.
Man ,the VFX is much worse (I'm talking about the waterfalls scene). I guess they didn't get a 100mil budget this time.
This season has a very different tone to it and I can't say I like it. I have no idea where this is going. But instead of being excited I'm bored. Now, I'm sure there is a bigger picture being revealed I just don't see yet. Remains to be seen if I like everything comes together. And why does Cortana look different ?
The one constant to season one: Kwan is still an uterly uninteresting character.
It's kind of admirable how they turned Halo into a boring story.
I have no idea what this is attempting to be, but it definitely is not Halo (and that assessment has nothing to do with the idiotic and overblown helmet "controversy".)

This episode is showing all the signs of a low budget production. More stage play than science fiction.
What have they done to Cortana omg.
They were tall in the season 1(as they should)
Spartans are a one full head taller than the tallest human you could find
But in the season 2 they are just not
I can tolerate the helmets being constantly off and all that, but the fact that they look like an average human height constantly breaks the immersion
they need to tone down on the shaky cam a bit.
So this whole season will be Ackerson not accepting Covenent are plotting something and final revel is Ackerson dying.............
Also Kai is not fun anymore..
First and second episode so slow. Save the battle until last episode it seems. Zzzzz
