i stopped hoping for anything with this show just bc of disinterest but well when i do... the writes just keep doing the opposite, mainly i think bc they love keeping the OGs (i mean the characters who are here many seasons, not from beginning) the longest they can so they drag and drag everything with unnecessary drama to after many seasons finally get them together. I'm sure they gonna drag down the Jo/Link relationship as they did with Owen/Altman (never fan of them but the will they/wont they were their only nice moments even dragged to eternity for it being boring as hell just the second they got together), I wanted sth fresh. Jo had a nice chemistry with the patient although it already started to be a little too much.
I soo miss Andrew DeLuca. I cannot fathom who can like Nick, he is so blant.... maybe its just really Mer getting older and I cant understand but the last time she felt alive was during the good times with Andrew :(
Also, the plane scene was funny for me bc i completely didnt get PTSD from the great plane crash of GA bc i didnt care about any of the characters in the plane. They made me disinterested in my last light in the tunnel which was Amelia.
That's shocking for me to say but I'll be watching the 20th season for the new guys. Adams is cute and the Reign actress with my fav Shadowhunters character? I need to see more of them. Tho they seem to lack depth in comparison to the wedding girl which has the most screen time i think.
Holy shirt, what an ending. It’s been a rocky road these last couple of seasons but they still manage to leave me on the edge of my seat, every time a break is around the corner.
I wasn’t too fond of the new class of interns for most part of the season. However, despite some of the cliché story lines, I believe they managed to bring back the feeling from the OGs. The way they were standing in that OR… could have been Meredith, Alex or Christina back in the day and honestly, it would have been iconic.
Poor Sam though, the guy just wanted to take Jo on a date as soon as he got out of there and yet there he was - fighting for his life while she’s making out with Link on the rain. Happy for them though. I’ve let go the idea of Link being with Amelia for a while now, and if we can’t have Alex back then, I’m cool with it. Whatever makes Jo happy.
Funny how Bailey was complaining about how she had never been nominated for a CF award a few episodes ago and yet there she is accepting one. Certainly deserved, although I kept hoping Addison would show up as well.
I was very much surprised to see Meredith and Maggie again this soon. I’m curious to see how they’ll manage their long-distance relationships now.
The biggest plot-twist from this episode could have been the fact that Maxine managed to recover and stay alive. No complains from me!
Teddy won’t die, right? I mean SHE CANNOT DIE
okay then
Meredith Grey: One of the most iconic characters in television. This episode: Serviceable but lackluster. Best moments were when she stood her ground and for what she believed in. This episode will not live on but she already has.

So, Bailey gets the Catherine Fox-award... definitely more worthy of it than the usual self-absorbed egomaniacs but I wonder why it wasn't a joined win for her and Addison.
Can't say I miss Meredith and Maggie - hope they'll stay gone and don't pop up all the time, not that they apparently reconciled with Nick and Winston, respectively... if so, I'd prefer for the guys to leave as well. And of course, Meredith's genius went and discovered the real issue with Alzheimer's... of course. Could we please stop to make her (and Maggie) look like genius reincarnate? She who's without fault? Honestly, I'd have preferred if she'd developed symptoms of Alzheimer's herself and her mania was the first inkling of what was to come. Would have been much more interesting than the 100th medical miracle.
So, Simone's ex-fiance comes in, punches Lucas... and Lucas gets the stinkeye from everyone?
Glad that Jo and Link finally figured things out... and what's going on with Altman? Septic tooth that caused endocarditis which caused a ripped heart valve? Possible... I guess, we'll find out next season. It's just very crazy that they don't have a second thoracic surgeon on call, even with Winston in Boston. How do they cover shifts in that hospital?
