I really have no idea how to rate this...
This was so confusing!!
That time jump was CRAZY!!
They went through almost a YEAR!!
MEREDITH WAS PREGNANT!!
AND THAT FUNERAL WAS LIKE 2 MINUTES THING??
Mer is doing almost the same thing her mother did.
I really... really don't like Dan, they're trying to make look like he's the perfect guy for Callie with the same things she went through with Arizona, like make her the bad person or something??
Why Callie got to spend Christmas with Sofia but NOT Arizona??
So NO MORE CALZONA??? That's it?? You CAN'T TAKE ALL THE COUPLES AWAY FROM US!!
NO MERDER?? NO CALZONA?? JAPRIL SUFER!! This is stressfull!!!
Jackson & April break my heart a little and April scared me a lot. Why Owen leads people to war? Although, thanks to Arizona I could understand why she leaves.
I like the scenes of Ben & Bailey, they're really cute and it's been awhile since we saw them like that.
I love Alex & Maggie friendship. So cute & cool.
Jo was so good in this episode. I missed Steph.
Mama Avery & Webber are TOO CUTE!! Finally they got engaged!! Was about damn time!!!
Amelia was SO GOOD in this episode. That momment when she cries & Owen was with her, was so AMAZING.
I'm not so excited about next episode, I still gonna watch this show, but they need to get those ideas clear so I can understand and follow them.
Loved the way this episode was written! Here's my two cents.
Initially, I felt quite conflicted. Derek just died and instead of the show taking a moment to stop and analyze each and everyone's grief, we just keep jumping forward in time. We just got through a tremendously painful episodes and here we are, trying to caught up with the events, whether it's in the hospital, on Jackson's phone or at Bailey's and Alex's houses. It feels that we are running away from what happened.
And then the second part of the episode comes around and it comes full circle, as well. The action itself was running at a rather quickly pace - the same way Meredith did, the same way Owen and April went on a tour, the same way Amelia was avoiding her feelings. Towards the ending of the episode, these characters start feeling. Especially Meredith and Amelia. They start to realize that they will eventually be ok, if they stop running away from all that pain. And then the show takes a breather and we are able to feel again. Including Richard and Catherine!
Moreover, kudos to Arizona for making that SCENE in the cafeteria! She gets the MVP award for the episode.
Restaurant scene: Arizona wins. Fatality.
For the rest, depressing episode.
Cristina should have done a guest star appearance...
I feel dirty because the highlight of this episode for me was seeing Owen in his uniform again :see_no_evil:
I liked the formula of this episode, great pace and really good writing, I didn't mind the flashbacks, it's very realistic, we all have such moments playing out in our heads over and over when something is lost forever.
What a beautiful episode. So sad. Yet beautiful.
Ok, what the fork was this?
They just fast forwarded a whole year in a single episode. But don't be fooled by that, it's not the reason why it's a double one (83 minutes of depressing stuff, yay!). No, they doubled it so they could spend half of it with stupid flashbacks! Including "the greatest hits", you know... the carousel, Ellis, you're ordinary, McDreamy in the bar, the post-it... sigh. Enough with the carousel!!!
may you rest in hill shonda !!!!!!
