After a bomb, a drowning, a shootout and a plane crash.. this episode is JUST RIDICULOUS.

Someone please tell Shonda this ain't Game of Thrones.

That was sad. So horribly, horribly sad. I hate that it happened, but damn, if Ellen Pompeo didn't put in an absolutely profoundly brilliant performance. The great episodes make you feel something. The best ones make you feel everything.

As a “late viewer” I knew this was coming, and I honestly don’t know which circumstance is worse. Nevertheless, nothing between these 241 episodes of Grey’s Anatomy could have prepared me for it.
It is the saddest and most heartbreaking episode I’ve seen in a long while, my chest literally hurts goddamnit.

How frustrating it must be, to be one of the top surgeons, surrounded by a brilliant staff at the workplace everyday, and yet end up at the hands of mediocre doctors in a crappy hospital.
I could barely breath while Derek was reacting to their assessment of his injuries.

Overall, stellar performances from Patrick and Ellen. I like how this was episode was solely focused on them.

I am crying so hard right now. Seriously Shonda, this was cruel. My MerDer feels just hurt too much to do anything more today.

I loved this episode. Keeps the show fresh with all the new drama. And let’s be real ppl, actors will be killed off or leave the show. It’s a series running 14 Years now. Gotta keep it fresh

Dumb, Stupid and Devastating. I had no idea this was coming. I don't know if there's a reason to watch anymore? The demise of G.A. started with the death of Mark Sloan. Very sad because I liked this show in the past.

My first episode for this series. Wanted to give it a try since this show is quite popular. Unfortunately, quite disappointing.

I felt it doesn't make sense for the part when Derek is in semi-conscious or under operation and his mind still can talk or teach how the doctor works. At that moment, he should be either unconscious or lose the logical thinking? Probably I'm wrong.

It's now extinguished. The passion is gone, I feel empty!!!

ok but why? for shock factor? to draw attention to the show? well acted and poor poor poor storyline. seems like Derek's death was for absolutely no reason.
