My rating may be due partly to the fact that I am still wrapped in my feelings following the finale.
I wish we had seen more of secondary characters in general, but Lisa Yamada's Parker especially.
I am happy with the final twists and how we see the brothers in a different light, one appearing darker while the other kinda redeemed himself a bit (although he was still a gigantic 90's douche). Disappointed in the dad tough, he felt self-absorbed from beginning to end, and although he didn't have to change for the character to be interesting, he felt really one-dimensionnal in the end. Luke on the opposite was quite interesting, thought that was done well.
Couple things felt underdeveloped and useless. Megan's sister : why does she even exists ? I think she had 2 lines max, with a sum of 10 words at most. Her mom's cancer at the end had 0 impact on the story and was barely mentioned. Megan's pregnancy... These things diserved more time, maybe a couple more episodes.
I thought the summer 2000 lense was slighlty too green and I wish we could have seen Megan's evolution from January to August 2000, which was reflected in her style the most, but also activities and personality.
Also Braeden De La Garza is cute and I crushed on Sadie Stanley, so that might have affected my rating.
In the end, I'm sad and curious about what would happen after the final shot. Seeing as the series is an anthology, I don't expect to get my answers, but I'll still hope.
Soundrack is fire, and the In the end track in the final episode was on point.

Do not expect at any circumstances the effect of Season 1.
The story is not appealing, to rushed, to many mistakes (i still believe what we really saw on the sex tape), totally and unnecessary over drama queens, the twist is one of the regulars, no way near season 1 level. Poor execution with many plot wholes.
But that Sadie Stanley is going to be a hell of a gorgeous woman!
