Season 1

While I do like the fact that this series goes back to 90s and the characters had the same age I had in 93,94,95, and I loved listening to a lot of my favourite songs from my teenage times, the nostalgia part of the movie is not taken very seriously. For sure when Stranger Things gets to theses dates I am going to enjoy it a lot more. The thriller side of the series i have mixed feelings. The time jump is creative but sometimes hard to follow and specially hard to create empathy with the characters. Specially in 1995. They change so much between years that we don’t connect ever with them. Also, while i watched until the end to know what was the secret behind the mistery, but in the final resolution is disappointing. Told to fast, too messy and, really, not what they tell us does not justify all that drama around Jeanette.
I could, and should, have stopped on episode 5 and go to Spotify and listen to the soundtrack instead.

A real pot-boiler that just goes on and on and on and on and on .... no idea where those high ratings belong, but not here! and there's a S2????? OMG LOL

If only they made 6 episodes instead of 10, the appreciation could have been much higher!
