[8.2/10] Lots of fun and lots of laughs in this one. Tina’s A-story, where she succeeds on the debate team, dates Henry, and crushes on a boy on an opposing debate team, has tons of great stuff in it. I like the theme that passionate Tina tries to logic her way through a relationship, even when she isn’t attracted to the boy (with Linda’s reaction to Henry being particularly great), but ultimately realizing that despite her ability to use her passion in debate, the same thing doesn’t work for her in the romance department. There’s lot of good debate-based gags, and Tina’s presence and attitude about everything leads to a lot of sweetness and humor on its own.

The B-story is classic Bob’s wackiness, with Louise spearheading a stop-motion film starring a hunk of meat molded to look like a man, and inevitably roping everyone (including Teddy and Hugo) into helping. It’s basically an excuse for everyone not involved in the A-story to do a bit of oddball weirdness, but it’s very funny, and the exploding meatman finale is a treat.

Overall, a thoroughly enjoyable episode with plenty of laughs.
