@copeland1994 Wouldn't 3.5/5 be 70% instead of 80%? :thinking:
I use two different grading scales. The stars (out of 5) is meant to be a full range of what general people watch with a standard bell curve around the average 3/5 stars. So a 0.5/5 is not truly the bottom of the scale, but is about as bad as any average viewer of mainstream media sees.
The percent scale is more of a school grading system. A totally average movie you see in theaters is still 75% for my scale. Whereas a 50% is a “bad” mainstream film, but it still represents there’s a whole bunch more media out there that is worse.
My equivalents:
5/5 (:star:) - 100%
5/5 - 95%
4.5/5 - 90%
4/5 - 85%
3.5/5 - 80%
3/5 - 75%
2.5/5 - 70%
2/5 - 65%
1.5/5 - 60%
1/5 - 55%
0.5/5 - 0-50%
Watching something that’s truly the worst half of everything out there is pretty rare, but I do my best to account for how something that’s bad is still better than most things (we just don’t watch most things for various reasons).
Second watch was about on par with my original comments. Surely cheesy and formulaic, but something about this remains pretty enjoyable and I do not mind to watch it when my wife picks it out.

Yes, this is a rom com that does all the cliche tropes, but it was pretty enjoyable. It will work for males and females in a similar way that The Proposal did. I won't mind rewatching this one when the wife picks it out!
