Having not read the books, I had no expectations. This was a rewatch and my experience is definitely different from the first watch. Good performances by everyone. Seeing the kids kill each other was horrifying. For me the Katniss and Peeta relationship was unnecessary. Also There was too many moments that felt convenient to the outcome rather coming across naturally, especially for one character.
