They accuse Wilhelm of being privileged but if I had to choose between living a life like Simon or one like Wilhelm, then I’d always choose Simon. I’d prefer to be able to live normally than to be under such pressure all the time and not have anyone around who’s actually in my corner. It’s always about image with Wilhelm’s family and his forced-upon friends, and there’s no real escape for him. Wilhelm has no freedom and no love. His one and only confidant, his brother, literally even DIED this year. So yea, no thanks. That sounds like hell. And it’s a little unfair of Simon to not recognize that. I just really feel like he needs to step out of his victim complex, because otherwise his relationship with Wilhelm will always be doomed to fail.
I thought Wilhelm was very much in the background, but the ending was interesting! I think the queen will die and Wilhelm will let August be king xd

this season is on a much bigger scale compared to the last two. i’m happy it’s grown so much but that there’s still cute and nostalgic scenes too
