2x03 Episode 3

Don't think I haven't noticed that Felice hasn't had a significant storyline this season yet. and no briefly getting with Willie in the last 5 minutes of this ep. doesn't count. It feels like we haven't had a single scene about HER yet. Every time she's here she's either consoling Willie or being besties with Sar but she hasn't gotten to be the anchor of any conflict this season whereas in season 1 there was her crush on WIllie her situationship with August her thing with her mom. She just has so much more there and feels diminished here.

I'm not sure how I feel about them dragging out the love triangle stuff with Marcus and Simon especially now that we're gonna have Wille Felice stuff too. I really respected Simon being really honest about his inability to be what Marcus wants but them just circling back to what it felt like we're just building to an inevitable messy breakup. The Felice Willie conflict could be unpacked well but I'm so wary given how little time has been spent so far engaging with what Felice wants this season. I fear she'll be treated as a secondary character rather than the main she deserves to be in this situation.

And finally Augus the sleeper fave of the season (I truly can't believe I'm saying that). I mean this episode did do a lot of work to put him back in our good graces. First, him being a better prefect and Coach than Victor (who was really only upgraded to major douchebag to prove this point). And his relationship with Sara does do a lot to raise his image because he's at his most beaten down and sad with her. Not sure how I feel about him being second in line. I'm sure Willie's gonna blow up when he finds out so the drama will be juicy.
