I rate it "how the hell is Sara talking without opening her mouth" out of ten.
Fucking hate that August bitch I hope he choke
[Netflix] A series that shows a realistic youth, far from the artificiality, and that presents a love story with honesty. The breaking of the fourth wall in two moments is interesting, as a search for the viewer's complicity, without falling into the usual voice over. Faced with more conservative representations of youthful love, it has the freshness of characters that show their imperfections and their vileness.
What a delightful suprise! This show hasn't been on my radar at all until recently and I'm so glad I was recommended to watch it because holy shit is it good!!
Wille & Simon gotta be one of my favorite ships ever already. The chemistry between the actors is off the charts, the mix between sweet & fun moments between them and immense angst is perfect, their communications is good and the amount of glances they have when not even interacting??? They're cute and very much appreciated. The directors etc. really know how to build romantic tension and not rush things but take their time instead. Their first kiss is a perfect example of this; the way they barely use any words and let the boys just stare each other and slowly build up to the kiss; I adore it. In just 6 episodes they made me care about those two together so much that I'm sure I will be in need of therapy if they don't end up together at the end of the show.
The dialogue is good and feels very authentic, the acting is amazing especially by Edvin Ryding who is absolutely killing it. I didn't love the soundtrack in the first two episodes but I think it got pretty good afterwards; the hilghlight being Revolution by Elias which was used on two of the best scenes (Simon picking up Wille at the football field & the hug at the end of the season).
I wasn't terribly invested in the characters and their arcs outside of Wilmon but they were still good; quite complex and well-written.
I wasn't ready for this show to be so heartbreaking, I'm very unwell now after finishing but I'm also obsessed and I can't wait for S2 to destroy me even more!

The fact that this series doesn’t have a review is beyond me. This show is extremely good and it keeps you interested and excited all the way through. The two main characters are adorable and you just want to know what’s going to happen next. I can’t wait for the next season, I just wish there was more episodes in each season because it definitely deserves it. ;-; it’s heartbreaking to watch it all. Watch it for yourself!
