When Joe said " Things will be different this time " ah. here we go again
I like how both Love and Joe are deceiving each other so it's difficult for the viewers to pick a side. Also, I like how cheating is the same as murder for them - Love is impulsive, when she cheated she didn’t even think about it till after. But when Joe cheats, he plans it out conscientiously.
I'm happy we got a break from the hiding bodies storyline in this episode, and that Joe didn't kill Cory. It would have been waaay too repetitive having to watch them trying to hide yet another body for an episode or two.
That French bit is so cringe the black girl can't even say a sentence properly and managed to make 2 mistakes when it's "her first language"
I'm sort of getting bored of Joe's sudden yet again finding the one and all that will follow.
I'm more inclined now on Love. She's f*cked up, but different, impulsive. Dunno, like a grasp of new air of methodical Joe, that until now hasn't shown something new (character or psycho wise)
Found myself amused by the oops of Love, and watching Joe's dealing with it and his so called
purpose, to be a good husband. What? OK. Lol
is joe for real rn? like we don't have enough to worry about?
The writers practically predicted my reaction to Cary's "death". I thought "no way people are just dropping dead that easily" I liked how it turned out, the glimpses into Joes' childhood, and I'm weirdly rooting for Theo and Love. I love the dual perspective, now that Joe isn't the only "psycho" in the family. I love how different it is from the third book, it's a whole new dimensions, and right now I'm digging the series even more.
No one else said anything about this but I will. Love obviously enjoyed watching Theo getting a blow job, but Theo was also watching her watching him. I think he planned it that way to try and make her jealous. It's working.
OOOH man Joe gonna be NEXT level beast for Theo I'm sure
also Love WTF get your shit together
thi can see JOE side of story ,he was really struggling ... he is not the one who get trapped , he needs to be hunting a total sociopath ...and that what makesthe story interesting .
Love can't control herself she needs attention and she is over protective ,same as what she was doing with her brother she doing it now in a way...
i think the ending of this season will be a tragic.
theory; sherry is gonna see Love and the neighbor kid(theo) together & love is gonna wack her.
Edit: Oh boy was I wrong, but also kinda right

If Cary had died, this episode would have gotten an instant terrible rating from me. It would have been such a ridiculously done death. Fortunately, that's not what ended up happening, and it actually led to some good moments later on.
